1. Who we are

Blic.Taxi (“we”, “us”) publishes the website blic.taxi, an independent guide that recommends one taxi app per Balkan country. We do not operate a taxi app, we do not provide rides and we do not process ride data. The apps we recommend (for example MonteGO in Montenegro) are run by their own operators under their own privacy policies.

2. Data we collect

• Contact form: the name, email address and message you submit, used solely to answer you.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, time, requested page) kept for security and troubleshooting.
• Country of connection: our hosting provider forwards a country code derived from your IP address so we can show the site in your language by default. It is not stored.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not run third-party advertising trackers on blic.taxi.
• We do not collect your precise location.
• We do not receive any account, payment or ride data from the apps we recommend.

4. Cookies

The website stores a single functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers your language choice. It contains no personal data and is not used for tracking.

5. Links to app stores and third-party apps

Store badges and app links lead to the Apple App Store, Google Play and the recommended app’s own website. From the moment you leave blic.taxi, the privacy policy of that store or operator applies. Installing and using a recommended app creates a relationship between you and that operator, not with us.

6. Legal bases and purposes

We process data to answer messages you send us (legitimate interest), to keep the website secure (legitimate interest) and to meet legal obligations.

7. Sharing and retention

Infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements. Authorities receive data only where the law requires it. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request; server logs are rotated within a short period.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and request portability. Use the contact form and we will respond without undue delay. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Children

The website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
